Varga Girl

As soon as I started working with Ana I knew she was a special talent and a fab person to work with. She has a unique look and in, and out of her red swimsuit her proportions reminded me of the Varga Girls, painted on the side of bombers in World War 2 to give luck to the crews inside.

It’s a shoot I can’t wait to put together with styling and makeup.

In the meantime here’s some more from her test shoot, ahead of a 121 at the studio tomorrow. Single Elinchrom 500 head from the back of the studio fitted with softbox giving this smooth, shadowless lighting to the curve.
